1. INTRODUCTION

Aarunya Telangana is a social impact initiative operated by SOH Foundation, a registered Not-For-Profit Organisation dedicated to empowering artisans, weavers, and Self-Help Groups (SHGs). As many of our products are handcrafted and woven by rural artisans, shipping timelines may differ from mass-produced commercial platforms. We request customers to review this Shipping Policy carefully before placing an order.

2. ORDER PROCESSING TIME

Processing time refers to the period between order confirmation and dispatch.

  • A. Ready-to-Ship Products
    Processing time: 2–5 working days
  • B. Made-to-Order / Custom-Woven Products
    Production time: 7–20 working days Dispatch after production completion
  • C. Festival / Peak Season
    Processing time may increase due to:
    • High order volumes
    • Artisan workload
    • Courier delays

Customers will be informed in case of significant delay.

3. SHIPPING METHODS

We ship through reputed third-party courier partners. Shipping methods may include:

  • Surface courier
  • Express courier
  • India Post (for remote locations)

Courier selection is at the discretion of Aarunya Telangana.

4. DELIVERY TIMELINES

Domestic (India)

  • Metro cities: 3–5 working days after dispatch
  • Non-metro cities: 5–10 working days
  • Remote/rural areas: 7–14 working days

International Orders (If applicable)

  • 7–21 working days depending on destination country
  • Customs clearance time not included

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

5. SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping charges may vary based on:

  • Product weight
  • Order value
  • Delivery location
  • Ongoing promotional offers

Free shipping may be offered on eligible orders as specified on the Website. International shipping charges and customs duties are borne by the customer unless otherwise stated.

6. ORDER TRACKING

Once dispatched:

  • Tracking details will be shared via email/SMS.
  • Customer is responsible for tracking shipment status.
  • If tracking shows delivered but not received, customer must notify within 48 hours.
7. ADDRESS ACCURACY

Customers must ensure:

  • Complete and accurate shipping address
  • Correct PIN code
  • Reachable contact number

Aarunya Telangana is not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect address provided by customer. If shipment is returned due to wrong address:

  • Re-shipping charges may apply.
8. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

If courier is unable to deliver due to:

  • Customer unavailable
  • Refusal to accept delivery
  • Incorrect address

Courier may attempt delivery multiple times. If order returns to us:

  • Re-shipping charges will apply.
  • Refund may be processed after deducting shipping cost.
9. PARTIAL SHIPMENTS

In certain cases:

  • Orders may be shipped in multiple parcels.
  • No additional shipping charges unless stated.
10. DAMAGED PARCELS

If parcel appears tampered or damaged:

  • Do not accept delivery.
  • Inform us immediately.
  • Record unboxing video if accepted.

Claims without unboxing video may not be entertained.

11. DELAYED SHIPMENTS

SOH Foundation shall not be liable for delays caused by:

  • Natural disasters
  • Strikes
  • Government restrictions
  • Lockdowns
  • Customs delays
  • Courier partner disruptions
  • Artisan production delays

Customers acknowledge that handcrafted production timelines may vary.

12. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING DISCLAIMER

For international orders:

  • Customer is responsible for customs duties, import taxes, and local charges.
  • Aarunya Telangana is not responsible for customs clearance delays.
  • If shipment is refused by customs or customer, refund may exclude shipping costs.
13. RISK OF LOSS

Risk of loss passes to customer upon:

  • Successful delivery to provided address
  • Delivery confirmation by courier

In case of loss in transit:

  • Courier investigation required
  • Resolution subject to courier partner confirmation
14. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION

Courier proof of delivery (POD) shall be considered final evidence of delivery. If package is marked delivered:

  • Customer must raise complaint within 48 hours.
15. SHIPPING DURING SOCIAL IMPACT CAMPAIGNS

During special artisan drives or social campaigns:

  • Shipping timelines may extend.
  • Pre-orders may apply.

Such timelines will be mentioned clearly on product page.

16. CHANGE OF DELIVERY ADDRESS

Address modification is allowed only:

  • Before dispatch
  • Upon written confirmation from customer

Address cannot be changed once shipped.

17. BULK / CORPORATE ORDERS

Bulk orders may require:

  • Additional production time
  • Separate shipping timelines
  • Customized freight charges

These will be communicated separately.

18. FORCE MAJEURE

SOH Foundation shall not be liable for delays or non-delivery caused by events beyond reasonable control including but not limited to:

  • Natural calamities
  • Pandemic disruptions
  • Political unrest
  • Regulatory actions
  • Transportation shutdowns
19. SHIPPING POLICY MODIFICATION

SOH Foundation reserves the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be published on the Website.
